This article was part of my Women in Music Series: Artists Who Paved The Way looking at pussy riot icon Kathleen Hanna. As this series focuses on feminism within the music industry and the incredible changes these artists ignited I had to include Kathleen Hanna. An artist who wrote feminist anthems encouraged women to come to the front and gig and created a space for women in male dominated genre.
